My ramblings (they may make sence then again they may not)

On Saturday we had Logan's birthday party.  I don't do themes so much anymore.  I probably will for Isaiah until he turns 7.  After that they just want cake and gifts.  Mark bought Logan's cake this year, because his friend made this triple chocolate deal.  Anyway it was "death by chocolate" for sure.  It was so rich it made my teeth hurt.  It was good, but the chocolate stuck with ya!  Logan got a lot of nice gifts and was one happy camper.  I made grilled bq'ed chicken, deviled eggs, green beans, mashed potatoes, baked mac n cheese, and corn bread.  I guess it was all good, because there was NO leftovers!!  Here are a few pictures.  I won't bore you with all of them.

Me doing my best don't mess with me look

Isaiah is our next birthday victim.  He will turn three the 30th.  He loves Diego so I am thinking about getting him a Diego cake.  Brian found him a Black and Decker fake tool set at a yard sale the other day.  He got it for $10.00 and the thing looks brand new!  It would have costed $90.00 at the store!  He should have saved it for is birthday but went ahead and let him have it.

I have been working a lot outside lately.  Brian made me a nice bird feeder holder.  I have several different types of feeders and lots of birds have came to pay a visit.  Isaiah and I love watching them.  We now have some humming birds.  They go to fast for us to realy watch, but I like to see them flutter.

We are working on another walk way and later on we plan on putting in a pond.  I think my cat will love the fish.  (Here fishy fishy)   I like gold fish, but I think we will probably go with some Koi which are related to goldfish, but bigger.  I have another $25 gift card to Home Depot, so I am going to get some more mulch and some wave petunias.  I love flowers, so who knows what I will end up with.  I want to get some to attract some butterflies.

We have also got more fencing up so we can get some more goats.  Brian is wanting to fence in some of the front part of the yard too.  I am not sure I want that.  I would rather have it woods.  We finally got our brush pile burnt off so all we have to do now is plow the ground so we can get a garden in.  I can't wait to can some nice fresh veggies!  I am out of my salsa and it is so YUMMY!!!

I guess that about raps this rambling up. Hope it made some sense!
